Fire Forensic Investigator

• Conduct on-site investigations of fires, including collecting and analyzing evidence.
• Determine the origin, cause, and responsibility of fires.
• Conduct interviews with witnesses, first responders, and other relevant parties.
• Analyze physical evidence, including burn patterns, ignition sources, and accelerants.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports and documentation of investigations.
• Provide expert testimony in court regarding investigation findings.

Master's degree in Forensic Science, or related field.

• Proven experience in pre-on-site investigations, with a strong ability to assess incidents remotely and develop effective investigation strategies.
• Skilled in handling physical evidence with care and precision, ensuring integrity and chain of custody.
• Practical knowledge of collecting and preserving physical evidence, including identification, documentation, packaging, and transportation.

• Strong knowledge of fire dynamics, ignition sources, and accelerants.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
